Photography Law

The only problem that some celebrities are quite familiar with is that there is no law, which prevents photographers from stalking them in the shape of avid paparazzi. According to the law, a crime cannot be considered as a crime unless the offender has perpetrated it upon the victim.

That is why, there is no law in photography, which says, "Thou shalt not shove thy camera in the face of a celebrity and ask him to smile and answer your questions." There is also not any law which says "and if the celebrity gets angry because you are really persistent upon dogging his footsteps and decides to break your camera, he is within his rights."

The only response, which that celebrity is going to get, is an outbreak of indignant journalists, making his life miserable in print. That is why many people have begun to question the limits of the law in photography. Unfortunately, the law has no real rules, which can punish offenders who are going beyond what is legal. For example, pornographic photography is getting attention from the law, but for one photographer caught there are a hundred more out there, who are making sure that the supply and demand marketing goes on.

Photography law also demands that if you are taking pictures in some restricted place, you have to get permission beforehand. Cameras are not allowed in these places, but anybody with a photographic cell phone can always manage to get photographs, while pretending that he or she are just talking to somebody upon the phone!
